Family Owned, Community Driven is not just a slogan on our cans. It is at the heart of everything we are about at 1623 Brewing Co. Whether we are working with the Carroll Hospital Foundation, the Jonathan Ogden Foundation, or the Rebels Project, community and charity are part of the daily operating considerations of 1623. Despite the financial struggles of the COVID shutdowns and restrictions of 2020, 1623 and its customers donated to the charities below, as well as Susan G. Komen Foundation, Carroll County Rape Crisis Center, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Zaching Against Cancer, and Westminster Elks Fletcher Falcone Scholarship Fund. We’d also like to thank the Sykesville Volunteer Fire Company who delivered gifts to disadvantaged children for Christmas.
